Which Climate King air conditioner suits my home?
That depends mainly on your exterior wall, not on your square metres. Split air conditioners are ideal wherever an outdoor unit may be mounted. The AirDeck Pro is designed for dormers, attics, annexes and garden offices with a flat roof. Portable air conditioners are for temporary or changing use.
Can Climate King air conditioners both cool and heat?
Yes, every model. On the split series, heating continues down to an outdoor temperature of −20 °C and cooling up to 53 °C. In the Dutch shoulder season — March, April, October — an air conditioner usually heats more cheaply than a gas boiler, because it moves heat rather than making it.
Do I need a certified installer?
Only for a split air conditioner. There a refrigerant circuit is connected, evacuated and filled on site, and in the Netherlands that may only be done by an F-gas certified installer. The AirDeck Pro and the portable air conditioners are pre-filled and hermetically sealed — you may install those yourself.
Do the air conditioners have WiFi control?
The split series and the AirDeck Pro have WiFi built in as standard, so you control the indoor climate via smartphone or tablet, the supplied remote control or the panel on the unit. The portable models come with a wireless infrared remote control.
Does Climate King deliver in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe?
Yes. Climate King B.V. operates from Oldenzaal and sells online: split air conditioners, portable air conditioners and the AirDeck Pro. Delivery in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany is standard; other European countries on request, depending on availability and shipping conditions. Larger units arrive on a pallet.
What if the unit is not to my liking?
You have 14 days of statutory reflection time from receipt. Within that period you may return the unit without giving a reason, as long as it is unused and complete in its original packaging. An installed split system falls outside that in practice — so if you are in doubt, please get in touch before installation.
